Social Justice

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” When the prophet Micah asked God what was required, God responded, “Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.”

Whether it be feeding the most vulnerable among us the last Saturday evening of each month at Mustard Seed Kitchen, or housing homeless families four weeks every year with RAIHN, or delivering food and hygiene kits to the chronically homeless of our city we are committed to “being the change we wish to see in the world.”

Jesus once said that loving God and loving neighbor were the only things that mattered. These are the words we live by as we continue to grow deep roots in the neighborhood in which God has planted us.
