Pastor Doug’s Welcome

I wish to personally welcome you to the joy of life here at The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word. Here you’ll find a community of people who take delight in worshiping, learning, reaching out and being in fellowship together.

Determination, visionary thinking and great expressions of faithfulness have given shape to what is today a dynamic congregation known for and committed to diversity, radical inclusiveness, peace and justice. Our life together in Christ is grounded in inspiring worship incorporating a vibrant ministry of sacred music and provocative preaching, and a lifelong exploration of the Christian faith.

We are a community committed to seek ways of stepping onto the path of personal spiritual renewal and discipleship rooted in peace, justice and compassion. Together we serve this city by loving God and loving our neighbor.

Perhaps a life event has left you shaken, wondering if God and faith might help. Maybe you’ve become disillusioned with religion long ago, but still long for a spiritual home.
