Each Sunday morning, children age 3 through young adult gather in their respective Sunday School rooms at 10:45, to not only hear about how much Jesus loves them, but to experience it as well through the love and sharing of faith-filled and dedicated Sunday School teachers.
Adult Forum is offered most Sundays as well where everything from Progressive Bible engagements and current events to “sermon talkbacks” take place. From time to time community leaders engage us in thought provoking conversations of real life events and issues facing the city. Depending on numbers of participants, we meet downstairs either in the Jenny Lind Room or in front of the Auditorium stage at 11am.
Confirmation Cafe takes place for our Junior High youth. Confirmation is a 2 year program of catechetical instruction for youth in grades 7 and 8 which begins in October and runs through May. We meet monthly at a local coffee shop for food, learning, and conversation. Yes, our classroom is the coffee shop where we embody Christ’s word out in the world, not locked behind closed doors of a beautiful church building. Pub Theology happens periodically throughout the year as folks gather in local pubs to relax and discuss issues of faith over good food and beverage.
